Can Sexual Attractions Sometimes Change? — This is a PUBLIC Facebook group for people who sincerely want to better understand the research and personal stories related to sexual fluidity and the possibility of changes in sexual attractions. Perspectives from all sides of the issue are welcome.

Only civil discourse is allowed! Hostile posts and personal attacks will be deleted. People who continue to post hostile messages will be removed from the group.

Note: Facebook’s definition of a “secret” group, is a group where no one can see your posts or your membership other than fellow members. Nothing about your membership in the group will show up on your own Facebook page.

Another Way Out (For Men)

This is a SECRET Facebook group for men who experience (or formerly experienced) same-sex attractions and want to address their SSA in affirming ways that align with their faith, values, morals and life goals.

To ask to join, first read the membership agreements here.

  1. Subject line: “Facebook Group: Another Way Out”

  2. Confirm that you have read the membership agreements and that you agree to abide by them.

  3. Provide your URL link to your personal Facebook page (go to your personal page and cut and paste your URL into the email you send us).

  4. Include a short paragraph about yourself telling us something about who you are and why you want to join. This should be a paragraph that we can post in the group to introduce you to the others. (You are giving us permission to post this short self-introduction to the group.)

After we receive this email from you, the administrator of the group will email you an invitation to join.

Married to an SSA Man (For Wives or Female Partners)

This is a SECRET Facebook group for women who love men who experience same-sex attractions, whether those men identify as gay or are pursuing a path of minimizing or managing their SSA feelings. Women whose husbands dealing with sexual addictions of any kind, including heterosexual addictions or affairs, are also welcome.

All women are welcome who deal first-hand with these issues and want to give and receive mutual support. No one who is hostile toward women who want to make their marriages work, or who are hostile toward men with unwanted same-sex attractions who are seeking change, or toward gays generally, will be allowed to join the group.

Marriage, SSA & Real Life (for Wives, Husbands or Couples)

This is a SECRET support and discussion group for heterosexually married men or women or couples who are in so-called “mixed-orientation marriages” or who otherwise deal with either partner’s same-sex attraction, sexual addictions or unfaithfulness in their marriage. (Sometimes this could include situations involving heterosexual addictions or affairs).

Wives or husbands are welcome to join separately or together. We strive to create a safe place for men and women to get support for the special challenges of marriage in general — and in particular marriages in which SSA, unfaithfulness or addictions are or have been issues. No one will be allowed to join or stay in the group who shows hostility toward such marriages, or toward women or men who want to make their marriages work, or toward those working to minimize or manage their SSA, or toward gays generally.

This is a secret group intended as a highly confidential and supportive environment for men who have completed the Journey Into Manhood program any time since its beginning in 2002 and who continue on a journey of growth, healing and brotherhood while working to minimize their sexualization of other men.

  2. Tell us when and where you went through Journey Into Manhood.

  3. Confirm that you have read the membership agreements and that you agree to abide by them.
